Mr. Gasprovav, PT/ES

In 2000, at the tender age of  sixteen, Mr. Gasparov aka Gaspa started as a drum’n'bass DJ at a time when it was as popular in Portugal as it was in Southern Micronesia. Later he joined forces with Fin and Simao to form the now extinct SHAKE crew, helping build the d’n'b scene in Portugal. In 2003 he moved to Bristol, where he studied sound engineering and regularly played at local parties and clubs.

On completing his studies he returned to Lisbon to release the first Portuguese Dubstep compilation, Movimento Tugastep, motivated by the infamous Movimento parties @ Kubik, Lisboa. He also collaborated with Portuguese Techno/House duo The Bastards, bringing a electronic touch to their powerful DJ sets.

In 2007, he moved to Barcelona to study a Masters in Digital Arts. He currently lives and works there as a part-time dubstepper, music maker and working as an interactive media designer and programmer.
